The Domain Name as you know, is the name/address of your site’s location on the web (e.g. peteytires.com; mikeflowers.com, etc.)
And let’s say you’ve had AJ Web Designers design you a web site (or maybe, heaven forbid, your site was designed by another professional).
The pages, images, text and video that make up your site need to be housed on a computer that is connected directly to the Internet. This “rental” of housing space for your site’s pages/images/videos typically has a yearly fee associated with it.
for an annual fee of only $7.95* a month (paid yearly).
That is less than 27-cents a day!

For this low charge, your site will be housed on our high speed servers and be immediately accessible to the entire World Wide Web! Our hosting plan comes with a 1024 Megabytes of web space (approximately One GB), 10 Gigabytes of monthly data transfer and one email account. Please note that if FTP account access is desired this can be arranged for an additional charge and the 1st year free web hosting does not apply.
What is an FTP account?
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) allows you to log into our Server’s directory that houses your web design files in order to allow you to add, modify or delete sections of your site. Please keep in mind that this access gives you considerable authority to access your site but at the same time, if you are not certain of what you are doing and/or are not familiar with web design languages, you can cause damage to your site that only AJ Web Designers can repair (our current service charge is $85 per hour*).
The bottom line is that you need to have your site hosted on a Server, so we recommend that you consider using AJ Web Designers for your hosting needs as well as all of your web site design requirements.
